Our Mission

To provide up-to-date information on meetings, events and outings.  To provide access to the whole troop for announcements or questions.  To make it easier to sign-up for outings.

Troop History

As of January 2011, Troop #114 begins its 54th consecutive year of operation. The actual beginning was August 1, 1917 when Reverend G. L. Wilson served as Scoutmaster. The troop was #1 at that time and the number was changed to 114 in 1918. In 1948 there was no leader so the troop officially disbanded.

Reverend A. Garland Rotenberry and the Couples Club re-established the troop in 1950. C. J. Gehrke was Scoutmaster.  Difficult times saw the troop fold again in 1954. Strong interest and action on the part of church members led to another re-chartering in 1957 as the “New 114” with John Mohr as Scoutmaster and John Dill as Assistant Scoutmaster. This same charter continues today as Troop #114.
